I developed asthma in my early twenties which came as a real shock to the system. After doing some research I discovered that regular exercise could really help me get my asthma under control.
I was never into sports as a teenager so the thought of exercising was quite daunting, but I found a gym that I liked and joined, I had sessions with a Personal Trainer which I really enjoyed and from there my interest in health and fitness developed.
I fell pregnant in 2011 and continued to workout throughout the whole of my pregnancy, including indoor cycling, body combat, body pump classes and swimming. Personally I found this to be a huge benefit to me in more ways than one pre and post pregnancy. I firmly believe your body and health is your most precious asset and needs to be looked after. |
A few more bits and bobs...Fav workout:
Free weights and cycling both indoor and outdoor Top work out tip: Make time to stretch before and after your workout Favourite workout tracks: I love dance music, so anything with a good tempo gets me moving Pre and post work out: Make sure you fuel your body well in advance of your workout and always keep hydrated Guilty pleasures: Barrows Gypsy Tart |
